Linear Membrane Potentiometer (FSLP)

Staging customizable with physical reliability

Linear membrane potentiometer also known as force sensing linear potentiometer (FSLP), is constructed with two layers of PET film. The top layer is printed with conductive silver in claws shape on one side and a resistive carbon pathway with conductive terminals on the other. The bottom layer is printed with conductive carbon. By combining the layers with an adhesive spacer, the sensor stayed open circuit. The sensing cell close circuited and output resistance value when pressure is applied to the corresponding position of the sensor. The closer to the connected terminal, the lower the resistance outputs.
