Shunt Mode Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR)

Highly sensitive with greater pressure sensing

Shunt mode force sensitive resistor is constructed with two layers of PET film. The Top layer is printed with conductive silver in claws shape and the bottom layer is printed with resistive carbon. By combining the layers with an adhesive spacer, the sensor stayed open circuit. The sensing cell close circuited and output resistance value when pressure is applied to the sensing area. The greater pressure is applied the lower the resistance outputs.
