Thru Mode Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR)

Light-weight precise sensing

Thru mode force sensitive resistor is constructed with two layers of PET film. Each layer is printed with conductive silver first and cover with resistive carbon. By combining the layers with an adhesive spacer, the sensor stayed open circuit. The sensing cell close circuited and output resistance value when pressure is applied to the sensing area. The greater pressure is applied the lower the resistance outputs.
